It’s truly incredible to see Hungary playing in the Round of 16, especially seeing them here as winners of Group F. The quality of the squad is extremely basic, yet functional and so are their tactics. They kept things simple, worked hard and pounced on the mistakes made by their opponents. They were both patient and collected at times, biding their time, knowing that sooner or later something would happen for them. More often than not it did.

Belgium, on the other hand, were a mixed bag in the groups. They flopped against Italy, comfortably beat Ireland and stuttered past Sweden. Many will now be expecting an upgrade from the Belgians, but it is better not to place too much confidence in Wilmots, as their two wins seem more a consequence of the limits of their opponents. Belgium are obviously still the favourites for this one, but Hungary have been lethal in making the most of unbalanced teams. Belgium have the attacking quality to certainly worry the Hungary defence and really ought to score, whereas Hungary too should threaten at times, especially if allowed to counter.  The odds on ‘Both Team To Score’ are pretty good at 7/5 and this is the bet to go for.
