UD Ibiza midfielder Simon Sibo’s solo strike tames Las Palmas

Ghanaian midfielder Simon Sibo’s solo goal for UD Ibiza was enough to defeat Las Palmas Atlético in the Spanish Segunda B League.

The Sea Blue lads went into the match against Las Palmas Atlético with bag full of confidence following their seven-game unbeaten streak.

But Las Palmas Atlético made life difficult for the in-form side in the game by holding them to a goalless draw in the first half.

However, Kwasi Sibo ensured the hosts pick the maximum points after climbing highest to nod home a cross on the 60th minute mark.

The victory sent UD Ibiza to 3rd on the log with 40 points after 20 matches.

Sibo has become an important member of UD Ibiza since joining on loan from English Premier League side Watford FC in the summer.
