Asante Kotoko was conspicuously missing during the one-day seminar to enhance the capacity of medical personnel of the various clubs in Ghana.

The seminar, under the auspices of Fifa's Medical And Research Committee (FMARC) held at the Ghana FA Conference Room saw the participation of 30 people and had Hearts of Oak with the largest contingent of four.

Wa All Stars which is owned by Ghana FA President, Kwasi Nyantakyi also failed to make a representation.

GHANAsoccernet.com's investigations also revealed a high level of misrepresentation at the seminar where some participants representing clubs had absolutely nothing to do with health, sports medicine or physiotherapy.

The situation is so bad that even board members, secretaries and even ball boys of some clubs represented their various clubs and either registered as doctors, masseurs or nurses.

Time limitation also prevented resourced persons from treating all items on the day's agenda. It is unclear at this point whether another date would be set for its completion.

This department of the game has been most criticized locally and Thursday's seminar is ample proof of the low premium placed on the most important aspect of football, which is maintaining the health of the main actors.
