Organizers of the 2016 Vodafone Unity Match Primeval Media will hold a Press Soiree at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday April 22 to interact with the media ahead of the matches.

The event which will held at the Multi-Purpose Court at the Accra Sports Stadium near the gym will not only offer journalists the opportunity to interact with organizers of the game but will also provide the opportunity for the media to interact with some of the players who will feature in the games.

Speaking to the Project Manager, William Ezah, he explained that the Soiree is to offer the media the opportunity to interact with the organizers and the players to create an enabling environment ahead of the game.

“The media is the most important element of the whole event. Without the media, the exercise will not be fruitful,” he said.

“The whole exercise is about ‘Peace’ and it is the same media that will carry the message along.”

“We therefore see it necessary to come together with the media to interact with them, answer some of their pertinent questions to ensure a successful exercise,” he concluded.

The Vodafone Unity Match will be played on two-legged basis with the first leg coming off in Kumasi on June 8 as Asante Kotoko take on a World XI side while the second leg will be played between the same side and the Black Stars in Accra on June 11.
