Defender Ibrahim Imoro scored a stunning goal as Asante Kotoko secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Dreams FC in Dawu.
The goal came in the 20th minute with the left-back, unmarked at the edge of the box volleyed the ball into the net.
Dreams could have at least earned a point from the game had they been clinical in front of goal.
Prior to conceding they had two great opportunities. The first one was blasted over the bar by Maxwell Arthur with goalkeeper Razak Abalora off his line.
Abalora produced a great save in the second to deny Ibrahim Issah, who had time and space to find the back of the net.
