VIDEO: John Antwi scores penalty as Ismaili advance in CAF Confederation Cup
John Antwi has been in top form for Ismaili.

Ghanaian striker John Antwi scored one of the spot-kicks which helped Ismaili to reach the CAF Confederation Cup last by beating Sudan's Ahli Shandi 4-2 on penalties.

Antwi converted the second kick after Amr Al Sulaya opened the scoring in the shootout.

Ahmed Khairi and Sameh Abdul-Fadil all scored but Ahli Shandi missed two of their kicks.

Both teams failed to score over the two legs as the Dervishes were lucky to see their opponents hit two penalties off target.

Antwi has been one of Ismaili's top performers this season in the league and Africa.

Ismaili have now qualified to the play-off round and the Egyptian club will know their opponents after the draw on 7 May.

In each tie of the play-off round, a winner from the Confederation Cup second round play a team eliminated from the round 16 of the Champions League.
