Chairman of Division One League side Young Apostles, Sammy Anim Addo believes he can effect positive change if voted on the Executive Council of the Ghana FA.

The experienced football administrator, who doubles as Asamoah Gyan’s manager, filed his nomination on Friday afternoon at the Secretariat of the Ghana FA.

Speaking to reporters shortly after, Sammy outlined his vision for Ghana Football and the motive behind his decision to contest in the upcoming GFA elections.

The contest for a slot on the Executive Council, hitherto the Executive Committee, will be given a stiff race following the reduction of the composition from 23 to 12 members.

The GFA Executive Council elections are set to be held on October 24.
