WAFA striker Daniel Lomotey wants to end the season as Ghana Premier League top scorer after moving to the summit of the goal king chart.

Lomotey was in sensational form on matchday 7 as he scored four goals for WAFA, who won a nine-goal thriller against Medeama.

His goals ensured WAFA won the thrilling encounter 5-4 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.

"I need to work more even after scoring four against Medeama. It is a great achievement," he told reporters after the game.

WAFA's next game is against struggling Legon Cities and Lomotey is confident of getting on the scoresheet.

"It is important I gear myself up in our next game against Legon Cities and get more goals. I was off after King Faisal's brilliant performance where a bagged in a brace."

Following the four goals, Lomotey is now the top scorer with seven goals, two more than Karela United striker Diawusie Taylor.
