Legon Cities captain Jeffery Degorl has assured fans of the club to expect the first win of the season against Bechem United on Friday.

The Royals have struggled in the opening five games of the campaign after three draws and two defeats.

But ahead of Friday’s showdown against the high flying Hunters, the attacking midfielder has promised his side will secure their maiden win by all means necessary.

“We are and a young team and most of the teams we have played have been together for some time and have team chemistry,” he said at the pre match conference. “We are working together to meet up with the challenges we face,” he added.

“We not scoring means there is something missing but with time we will gel and get the goals.

“We’ve prepared with our coach and we have said to ourselves tomorrow is going to be the day we are going to have our first win, whether hook or crook,” he said.

Degorl has been the key player for the club and looks to put in a performance that will ensure they secure the first win.
