Dreams FC have a perfect plan B to deal with the absence of suspended talisman Emmanuel Hayford for Saturday’s top-liner against Wa All Stars at the Dawu Park.

Head coach CK Akonnor has revealed he and the technical team will hatch a strategy to ensure his unavailability does not derail their efforts.

Hayford is serving a mandatory four-match ban including the match he got sent off against Inter Allies last Sunday.

"It’s difficult to replace a key player like him but we’ll manage it, we’ll always have plan B,” Akonnor told the club’s website.

"I think it will be improper not to have plan B. He is a key member but we can easily replace him and I hope any other person who’ll be given the chance will to play that role will do it well so that he will also know that when he’s coming he has to fight and get a position.

"We don’t have much info about the opponent but what we know is that they’re a very strong side and because of the way they play it is very difficult to tell off their weakness. And so, we expect a very difficult or tough match but we also have to have an attitude of disorganizing them.

"That is what we want to do, they are a side that are very disciplined, well composed and play quick especially through the wings and we’re aware of that and so we’ll make sure we don’t allow them to do that but then, we’ll like to put a lot of pressure on them, do a lot of pressing work.

"That is the idea; the approach towards the game, we have to force them to make mistakes and if possible in their own half so we have a chance to outplay them."

Dreams FC’s unbeaten record is on the line after recording two wins and one draw in the opening three matches of the Ghana Premier League.
