David Obeng, the General Manager of Bofoakwa Tano FC highlights the clubs strategies planned to win the hearts of many fans through digital branding in the future.

Bofoakwa are gaining attraction as one of the most valuable digital football brands in the Division One League lately, according to many report from football fans in Ghana.

The hunters have started enriching their brand through digital media by creating and distributing exceptional content such as photos, videos, etc which puts the clubs on the a map.

“Currently, the club is by far one of the best digital clubs having created a detailed protocol focusing on gaining attention and then “monetising” that attention as a new and sustainable way of generating revenue for the club,” David said.

“With exception to our traditional fans, We want to become almost everybody’s second favorite football club in Ghana through the content that we produce and currently we produce arguably the best and attractive digital content in Ghana.

“It’s demographically estimated that there are about 10 million football fans in Ghana and if we could even bring only 10% to cheer for Bofoakwa Tano as their second favorite team, we would have one million fans.

“Now, if we get them to spend even Ghc 5 each per season, that would be a revenue of Ghc 5 million not to talk about the other revenue streams such as sponsorship and the likes.”

Obeng, who is also a member of the Division One League Board explained further through his social handle.
