We want to win the league - Hearts deputy captain Owusu Bempah
Hearts of Oak have had a good start to the season

Hearts of Oak deputy skipper Owusu Bempah says his teammates want to win the league title admitting it won’t come cheap.

The former Premier League champions have been tipped to win the league following their splendid display in just three games into the season.

The Phobians recorded back to back victories in their opening two games before picking a point in their match day three fixture against Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak are looking for their first league title in seven years and their deputy skipper has opined that their aim is to end their league title drought.

“Every player wants to win the league and enter the history books.”

“It is not a simple task, it is very huge but we are taking it match by match and step by step.”

“The competition in the team is intense. Everyone is on top of their game,” Bempah told Adom FM.

Hearts will welcome Bechem United in their next league fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
