West Brom striker Anichebe not keen on Derby loan

West Bromwich Albion striker Victor Anichebe has snubbed Derby County's approach, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.

Anichebe has made just seven appearances under Tony Pulis this season and with Salomon Rondon, Rickie Lambert and Saido Berahino ahead of him, the Nigerian was expected to leave The Hawthorns this month, with Championship side Derby placing a loan offer with the Baggies.

However, Anichebe is not excited by the prospect of dropping down a division and has rejected the approach from the Rams, indicating he will leave West Brom on a Bosman in the summer.
