Wydad Athletic Club handed massive boost as star man Reda Al-Jaadi makes injury return ahead of Hearts of Oak clash

Wydad Athletic Club midfielder Reda Al-Jaadi has been declared fit to train with the side ahead of the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round against Hearts of Oak.

Al-Jaadi got injured whilst on national team duty in a friendly game against Sierra Leone, at the  Al-Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia, as part of the preparations of the reserve national team, for the 2022 FIFA Arab Cup Qatar.

He missed the team's game against Qouloul Al-Sanawbar, in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Al-Jaadi injury return will be a big boost for Wydad as they host Ghanaian champions Hearts of Oak in the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.

Wydad Athletic Club lost by a lone goal in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday and must overturn the scoreline to progress to the group stage.
