Ghana goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey has no doubts he can keep in-form Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo at bay at the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.
Kwarasey is likely to be named Ghanaââ¬â¢s first choice gloves man due to the lack of game time for Fatau Dauda at South African side Orlando Pirates.
The 26-year-old is in top shape after captaining Stromsgodset to win the Norwegian title last year by playing every single match.
Kwarasey was between the sticks when Ghana lost 1-0 to Montenegro in a friendly last month and hugely impressed.
Before the World Cup kick-starts in June, he could be tested against Dutch stars Robin Van Persie and Arjen Robben when the Black Stars play Holland in a pre-tournament friendly in Rotterdam on 31 May.
ââ¬ÅIt will be fun. I think I can manage to stop Ronaldo,â⬠Kwarasey told Dagbladet.
Kwarasey joined Stromsgodset in 2007 from Valerenga and is playing in his seventh season.
