2015/16 National Women's League to commence on March 19

The National Women's League is set to kickoff on 19th March 2016, according to the Women's League Board of the Ghana Football Association.

In a statement released by the Ghana FA, registration of players has started and will end on 31st May while clubs are required to pay an affiliation fees of GHC500.00

Below is the statement:

"The Women's League Board announces to all the Women League Clubs and the general public that the 2015/16 National Women's League will commence on Tuesday, March 19, 2016.

Clubs are informed that the First and Second Window Registration of players opened from Monday February 29 to May 31, 2016.

With Registration ongoing, clubs are requested to submit their colour strips, authorized signatories of officials, home venues and home match day (Saturday or Sunday) to the GFA Secretariat latest, Wednesday, March 9, 2016.

To be an affiliate member of the Association, each club is requested to pay an amount of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC500.00).

For the avoidance of doubt each player registration remains Twenty Cedis (GHC20.00).

Per convention for the season, each club is required to register not more than Thirty (30) players per season.

However, there will be a media launch on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 10:00am to usher in the 2015/16 National Women's League season."
