Founder of Achiken FC Nana Adu Abankro Acheampong II (Mr. Kenneth Boakye) has expressed his disappointment over the delay in the start of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.

The Premier League which was supposed to have started on February 11, 2018 has been postponed twice as a result of the ongoing legal battle between Great Olympics and the FA.

Olympics are seeking justice after FA ruled out their protest against Bechem United for fielding an unqualified player against them last term.

And Nana Acheampong, has called on the Ghana FA to find a quick solution to the issue.

"The delay in our league is very disturbing and also surprising," Nana Acheampong told Oyerepa FM.

"It's only in Ghana we trade our football in the law courts. let's pray things go well so we start the league to save some of us from spending."

With the start of the league still unknown, clubs have resorted to playing friendly matches to keep their teams in good shape.
