AFC President condoles the passing of Jung Byung-tak

Kuala Lumpur: AFC President Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has condoled the passing of former Korea Republic national team player and manager Jung Byung-tak who has died at the age of 73.

Jung was a national player in the 1960's before taking charge of Yonsei University in 1984.

In 1994, he became the first coach of Jeonnam Dragons and went on to manage the Korea Republic national team a year later.

Jung will be remembered for his services and contribution to Korean football, both for his club and the national team.

The thoughts and prayers of the AFC, the Korea Football Association and the rest of the Asian football community are with the family and friends of Jung.
