Newly-appointed Rwanda coach Yaoundé Gilbert Kanyankore admits his side must pull the chestnut out of the blazing fire to bow out of the qualifiers for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in style ahead of the Ghana tie.

The Amavubi among the few nations tussling for best second placed side in 11 qualifying groups.

The team lost 1-0 to Mauritius to make qualification difficult for the side.

The setback led to the sacking of Northern Irishman Johnny McKinstry.

And the new man is relishing his side's chances against the Black Stars in Accra.

"Some countries would have pulled out at this stage because it is no longer possible for us to qualify but we are choosing to go to Accra and honour this fixture.” he said

Rwanda sit in second place in Group H with six points behind table leaders Ghana who have 13 points from four wins and a draw and have already booked their slot to Afcon in Gabon next January.
