Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah could finally have his wish of moving to England following a fruitful meeting between his representative and Torino.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Grenades in the ongoing summer transfer window following a stellar performance in the Italian Serie A last term.

English Championship side Birmingham City tabled €8 million bid for the former TSG Hoffenheim hardworking midfielder but it was blatantly rejected by the Grenades.

However, after Sinisa Mihajlovic’s outfit signed Venezuela captain Tomas Rincon from Serie A champions Juventus in a €3 million loan deal with option to make it permanent for €6million at the end of campaign, the player is finally reported to be close to realizing his dream move to England.

Acquah’s agent met with the club on Tuesday to discuss the future of the enforcer and per the reports, talks between the two parties went well.

Acquah saw 90 minutes of action for the side in their 7-1 victory over Trapani Calcio in the Coppa Italia round of 32 last Saturday.
