Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has aimed at beating Fifa 2014 World Cup hosts Brazil in next month's international friendly to be played at Craven Cottage.

The Black Stars will take on the five-time world champions on September 5, three days after playing Swaziland in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Ghana have lost all two meetings with the Selecaos but the Udinese combative midfielder believes his teammate will end that.

"We will take this game very serious. Our confidence level must be high to win this match to improve our standing on the Fifa ranking. It will also help to boost our qualification for the World Cup," the 21-year-old told Happy FM.

Ghana lost 1-0 to Brazil in Stockholm in March 2007 after a 3-0 defeat at the 2006 Fifa World Cup finals in Germany.
