Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu graced his 22nd birthday with an impressive showing in midfield for Udinese who beat Cagliari 4-1 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.Â
The Black Stars midfielder was deployed in a defensive midfield role in a 3-1-2-2 formation and overly impressed.
He was involved in the sequence of play that resulted in Udinese's third goal at the Stadio Communale Friuli.
Badu whose 2012 Nations Cup goal was nominated for the Fifa Puskas 2012 Goal of Year Award expressed delight with the game's outcome.
"We thank God for the win and it is so nice because it met my birthday," he told Ghanasoccernet.com.
"We put in a very good performance but they are also a very strong side and they gave us some difficulties at times but we managed to win.
