AIK Stockholm ace Ebenezer Ofori is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury in Friday’s pre-season friendly against Molde BK.
The midfielder was stretched off on 20 minutes after he was caught late on a tackle.
Stefan Ishizak later replaced him as his side drew 1-1 in regulation but won 4-2 on penalty shoot-outs.
"The player caught my leg late. We’ll see how it feels, It is too early to say if I could play on Wednesday,” Ofori stated.
Ofori was named the best midfielder in the Allsvenskan last year and expected to replicate that performance when the new season kick-starts in March.
