Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila insists he is very much a player of Mamelodi Sundowns despite moves by Al Qadsia to sign him permanently.
The 22-year-old has rejoined his South African club following the expiration of his short-term loan stint with the Kuwaiti club.
Al Qadsia want to sign the Ghanaian following his exploits and have tabled a bid to Sundowns.
Contrary to earlier reports that the move to Al Qadsia is a done deal, the former Asante Kotoko loanee says he is yet to get word on any confirmation.
ââ¬ÅI have returned to Sundowns after my loan with Al Qadsia,â⬠he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅI have one more year left to run on my contract at Sundowns but Al Qadsia have initiated talks to sign me.
ââ¬ÅAs at now I have returned to Sundowns and awaiting whatever comes out from the talks.ââ¬
