Ho Chi Minh City: Indonesia continued their fine form in the 2017 ASEAN Futsal Championship with a 9-0 win over Brunei in a Group A tie at the Phu Tho Stadium on Friday.

The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the AFC Futsal Championship 2018.

Ardiansyah made it look easy when he scored Indonesia's first goal inside three minutes, picking out the Brunei keeper with a venomous shot from the left flank.

Brunei tried to contain Indonesia but were unsuccessful as they conceded their second four minutes later.

Randy Satria Mushar's through pass found Guntur Sulistyo Ariwibowo who back-heeled from close range.

Indonesia increased their lead after 10 minutes of play through Johanis Dominggus Mustamu and Saud picked up his second of the match when he found space on the left a minute later.

Bambang Bayu Saptaji got on the scoresheet in the 15th minute to put Indonesia 5-0 up at halftime.

Indonesia, who beat Philippines 21-0 in their opening match, scored four more goals after the break as they picked through the Brunei defence with ease.

Their goals came from Saptaji (27th), Saud (30th), Mohammad Iqbal (36th), and Alexander Benhard Larawo (40th).
