Arsenal defender Bellerin urges immediate improvement

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has honestly stated that the Gunners' performance against Norwich City on Sunday was simply not good enough to merit a victory.

Arsenal lost ground at the top of the Premier League table by enduring a 1-1 draw against Norwich at Carrow Road and the result is certainly a setback to the Gunners' title aspirations, especially with Manchester City claiming victory over Southampton.

Following the game, Bellerin gave an honest appraisal of the Gunners' display and stated that his side were simply not good enough to win.

Bellerin told Arsenal Player: "The conditions weren't the best but Norwich are a well-organised team who were very solid at the back and dangerous on the counter. We should have played our game better than we did.

"We made some mistakes that cost us the game and we need to look at ourselves and realise that this is not the way. We need to push ourselves a bit more and play better football if we want to be at the top. What happened on the pitch was not a great experience but we need to try and bounce back so we are ready for the next game."
