Arsenal fans call off Wenger protest - for now

Published on: 17 March 2017

Arsenal supporters have canceled a protest against Arsene Wenger for the West Brom match tomorrow.

The London Evening Standard says a plane was expected to fly over the Hawthorns with a banner “Wenger Out: No New Contract".

But due to weather concerns over high winds and storms, the planned protest has had to be binned last minute.

Supporters are still expected to hold up banners against Wenger continuing as the Gunners manager.

However a more serious protest is now being planned for the match against Manchester City at the Emirates on April 2.
