Arsenal have announced that they will play Chelsea in a preseason game in Dublin on Aug. 1.

The teams had originally been scheduled to face each other in Stockholm on Aug. 4, but those plans had to be changed because FA Cup winners Chelsea play in the Community Shield that weekend.

Arsenal said they would still play in Stockholm that day, with their opponents to be announced at a later date.

The Gunners kick off their first preseason under Unai Emery by travelling to Singapore for games against Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the International Champions Cup.

Chelsea play Inter Milan at the Allianz Riviera Stadium in Nice on July 28 before taking on Arsenal at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin in the European leg of the International Champions Cup.

They have also announced a friendly against Lyon at Stamford Bridge on Aug. 7, two days after the Community Shield against Manchester City at Wembley.

‪Chelsea were initially scheduled to face Sevilla in Warsaw on July 28 and Inter in Gothenburg on Aug. 1.

However, concerns over stadium availability and the Spanish club's withdrawal as a result of Europa League commitments forced a change to the schedule.
