Asamoah Gyan was a major attraction during the weigh-in session for the Boxing Day bout between Emmanuel Tagoe and Sidicki Momba on Thursday.
The gathering at the official event held at the Accra Sports Stadium buzzed with excitement as the fleet of cars of the Black Stars captain cruised in.
Tanzanian Sidicki Momba was recorded to have weighed a pound heavier [133 pounds] than his Ghanaian contender Emmanuel Tagoe ahead of the WBA Intercontinental Lightweight contest on Friday.
A host of Black Stars players currently in Ghana on brief holidays are expected to be at the event on Friday night.
Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan expressed excitement ahead of the bout which is being hosted by his Baby Jet Promotions.
"I can't wait for tomorrow," he told AsamoahGyan3.com.
"My team have done a great job and I am sure the fans who will come and see the fight will be very happy and entertained."
