Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan wants his team to get nothing but a win at home against Inter Allies in Week 9 of the Ghana Premier League especially as Aduana Stars are not playing.
The league resumes this weekend after the international break and for Kotoko, they will be eager to get a win to take away the pain of losing the grudge match to Hearts of Oak in Accra in Week 8.
Annan, who has been a regular in goal for the Reds, is urging the rest of the team to get the win and put pressure on Aduana Stars who, despite being on 17 points with Kotoko, are on top of the league due to a better goal difference.
“It is really important that we win. We have to try and go to the top of the league table," Annan told Accra based Citi fm
"Winning our match against Inter Allies will put pressure on Aduana. They will be pushed to keep get a win and get their spot back. "
"We need to show people that we are title contenders. That is why winning on Sunday is very vital.”
