Asante Kotoko played their final league match against Aduana Stars last Sunday with just one goalkeeper as they handsomely won 4-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors had no back up for Joseph Addo after Isaac Amoako suffered an injury in training last Friday.

First-choice goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi is on international duty with the Ghana U23 side at the All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo.

Head coach David Duncan explained: “We have lost a goalkeeper to the National U-23 so we are making do with two. But just about five minutes to end Friday training session which happened to be our last before his game, the other goalkeeper, Isaac Amoako suffered a serious injury which threw him out of his game.”

Fortunately, there was no cause for concern as Addo did not pick up injury or sent off.
