Ashanti Regional Circles Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Obeng Sekyere launches scathing attack on Zdravko Lugarusic following their Super Clash defeat to Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors failed to maintain their seven-year dominance over their arch-rivals in week 8 of the Ghana Premier League when they suffered a 1-0 loss via a late controversial penalty call by referee Samuel Sukah, which was duly converted by defender Vincent Atinga.

Many of the club’s teeming supporters have expressed concerns with the formation deployed by the coach since the commencement of the season.

And in the aftermath of the match, the club’s supporters chief questioned the Croatian tactician tactical acumen claiming he is not worth his role in the club hence he needs to be replaced with a competent coach.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Kessben FM, he reckoned, “We need a quality coach. Someone who knows what he’s about, if he assigns you to a position on the pitch, he knows what you can do.”

Despite the defeat to their sworn rivals, Asante Kotoko maintain their 2nd position on the league table with 17 points after match day 8.
