AshantiGold attacker Bashiru Osman expects a tough opposition from Kotoko in SWAG Cup clash

Ahead of the SWAG Cup clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Obuasi AshantiGold, former Kotoko striker Bashiru Osman has cautioned his team mates to be wary of his former club.

According to Bashiru Osman, famously known as Gambo, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will approach the game more determined than the Aboakese lads and that his mates must equally take the game serious.

In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Bashiru Osman noted the strength and preparations of the Porcupine Warriors, cautioning his AshGold team mates about the reds.

“It shall be a very difficult game and I know Kotoko will come stronger than we have ever known. They cannot afford to lose to us again after losing the Otumfuo Cup,” Bashiru said.

“We have to be very careful but still we will prove our worth. What we did to them last season is still hunting them and they will want to pay us back,” he added.

AshantiGold skipped past the Porcupine Warriors to win the GHALCA Top 4, the First Capital Plus Premier League and the Otumfuo Cup and the Reds are expected to pay back.
