AshantiGold SC assistant coach Yakubu Mambo expressed satisfaction at their 1-1 home draw with Aduana Stars on Saturday at the Len Clay stadium.

It was a fourth consecutive draw for the defending league champions who have failed to replicate the form that saw them win the title last season.

AshGold SC took the lead in the 43rd minute from a penalty kick whilst Aduana Stars equalized on the 90th minute mark through Bright Adjei’s bicycle kick.

Mambo believes Ashanti Gold SC can also manage to get points at away.

"Actually I may say we did very well, we played very well, we started on a good note but unfortunately we had a draw. I don't think is bad,” he said in a post-match interview

“We planned to come and win but since we had a draw I don't think is a problem.

"We went to Kumasi to play Asante Kotoko and we had a draw. We did same against Sekondi Hasaacas we had a draw and if we have had a draw at our own backyard what is the problem?

"We can also go somewhere and then win so I think it's Ok for us."
