Astana will be without Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi for their historic UEFA Champions League game against Benfica on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old did not travel with the team to Portugal for their first ever group game in Europeââ¬â¢s flagship club competition.
Twumasi will be out for Astanaââ¬â¢s next four matchesà due to a ban following his sending off in their penultimate qualifying round tie against HJK.
The Kazakhstani club also made history as the farthest traveled team in the competition after making a 6100km journey to Lisbon for Tuesdayââ¬â¢s clash.
Astana secured a historic passage into the group phase of the Champions League after securing a 2-1 aggregate win over Apoel Nicosia.
They are however in a tough group alongside Galatasaray, Atletico Madrid and Benfica.
