Christian Atsu has said his goodbyes to Everton following the expiration of his loan spell at the club.
The 23-year-old struggled for regular first team action in his season-long loan deal at Chelsea.
Atsu could only manage five appearances in the Premier League for Everton â⬓ owing his limited opportunities to injuries and poor form.
The Ghana international is thanking the entire Everton for his time at Goodison Park admitted his loan stint didnââ¬â¢t go as planned.
ââ¬ÅI would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Everton for making me feel welcome during my time there this season.
ââ¬ÅThe fans, the staff, my teammates have all been very supportive. I'm sorry that things didn't work out for me but I must look forward and am keen to take the next step in my football career. God bless everyone.ââ¬
Atsu will now be reverting to Chelsea but is certain to leave Stamford Bridge once more again this summer.
Newly promoted Bournemouth have been linked to the Ghana winger.
