Veteran striker Godwin Attram helped FC Smouha to take a step further away from the drop by scoring in their 3-2 win over El Entag El Harby on the return of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday night.

The former Black Stars striker powered Smouha into the lead after 28 minute before team-mate Ahmed Bilal added the second.

Black Meteors winger Samuel Afum picked the ball from deep in the midfield drilled his way through before releasing a defence slipping pass to Attram to beautifully finish off.

Smouha appeared to have killed off the game when Amr Fathi added the third but the visitors scored twice within two minutes to keep the scoring 3-2.

Smouha needed maximum points to stay at least a point clear off safety while El Entag El Harby were pushing for a place in the top four.
