Follow Rahman on Twitter @iamrahmanosman understands lower division referee Kyei Andoh died from natural causes, according to the autopsy report.

The 21-year-old referee died few days after suffering severe battering at the hand of eye red fans during a third division game in the western region.

The Ghana Football Association ordered for an autopsy report before any action could be taken since Kyei did not die on the spot.

But after weeks of detailed scrutiny, pathologist Osei Sampane of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital,  has revealed that the young match official died a natural death.

"From the autopsy report I have with me, the young man died a natural death," Sampane told Sports Journalist Jerry Kwame Ayensu, who has launched an online campaign to eliminate violence in our stadia.

The Ghana Football Association has said it will take up the funeral expenses of the young referee.

Really! Natural cause? Can't believed this bogus report!! This man was beaten, hospitalized before he gave up the ghost and someone can say he died from a natural cause!! Even if he died from a natural cause that cause was triggered by the beatings he received from these village hooligans and is about time the police roundup these hoodlums for the law to deal with them severally!! If EINSTEIN OR NKRUMAH has died at the age of 21, the world would have been a poorer place, so I expect the gfa to launch investigation into this and deal with these lunatics because u never know when it all be your turn!!!

We can spend money on Serbians and other nationalities but can't spend our own money on our kind!! NATION OF JOKERS!! If the fa doesn't launch proper investigations into this ylung man death, his family has to go the TRADITIONAL WAY TO DEAL WITH THESE PERPERTORS SPIRITUALY!! If any member of my family dies like this, GOD SHOULD HAVE MERCY!! IS INDEED SAD!!

What natural causes? That's like saying nothing. So you think since he did not die on the spot it means the bartering did not cause his death. In fact you people are jokes. What stupid doctor did the autopsy?

If its natural death, why then is the FA taking up the funeral expenses?
