The Black Princesses of Ghana

The Black Princesses of Ghana qualified for next year’s FIFA U-20 women’s world to be staged in Papua New Guinea with a resounding 4-0 victory over their Ethiopian counterparts.

Coming into the game coach Mas-Ud Dramani’s team played out a 2-2 draw game away in Adiss Ababa making its almost impossible for the Ethiopians to pull through.

The game begun with some lovely touches from the Princesses’s team who looked confident any time they were on the ball.

But it took 33 minutes to break the dead lock mainly because of the commendable output of goalkeeper in post for the Ethiopians.

Princella Adubea with a good goal to give the hundreds assembled at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium something to cheer on.

That put the aggregate score on 3-2 in favor of the Ghanaians.

But the second half saw a different Black Princesses’ side who had Princella Adubea getting her second goal of the game and

Sandra Owusu Ansah also grabbing a brace to add gloss to a heavy but deserved victory.

The 6-2 win on  aggregate means Ghana will join Nigeria in the FIFA U-20 women’s world cup to be staged in Papau New Guinea early next year.
