Ghanaââ¬â¢s U17 made a strong start at the four-nation tournament in Namibia by thumping German side Westphalia 3-0 on Wednesday.
The Black Starlets took the lead on the stroke of halftime through midfielder Henry Medarwus during a fairly balanced first half.
In the second half, Ghana registered two more goals through Kofi Amoakoa and substitute Isass Issah to complete the rout.
In the tournamentââ¬â¢s opener between hosts Namibia and South Africa ended in a 1-1 draw.
Ghana will now face Namibia tonight which will be preceded by a duel between South Africa and Westphalia at the Swakopmund Sports Complex in Vineta, Swakopmund.
