Ghana suffered a 1-0 defeat to Uganda in Kampala on Saturday and will need to avoid defeat against the Hawks to qualify.
They had a recovery training session at the Accra Sports Stadium after arriving in the capital Sunday dawn.
The team enjoyed massive support from the people of Tamale when they hosted Guinea last month and won 3-1.
Ghana sit on top of Group E with eight points; one more than Uganda and Guinea.
Togo are at the foot of the table with six points and have faint hopes of qualifying if they beat Ghana.
