Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has been made to eat humble after he tagged Medeama 'baby club' ahead of his side's meeting against the Ghanaians in the Confederation Cup play-off in what turned out to be a splash on his face or his boisterous posture.

The extremely boastful trainer saw his team cut into pieces at the Sekondi stadium with midfielder Malik Akowuah and striker Bernard Ofori causing the havoc.

Mosimane, whose side took a 3-1 lead from the first leg, tagged the ambitious Ghanaian side as 'baby team' while touting the credentials of the Brazilians.

But the South Africans were made to chase shadows and ghost while catching air in a one-sided contest in Sekondi.

The perceived star-studded South Africans struggled to combine three passes together as the Mauve and Yellows thought them a bitter football lesson in front of their home fans.

The newly-crowned South African PSL champions were no match for the two-time Ghanaian FA Cup holders, currently locked 10th on the league table.

Mosimane had no answers for his opposite number Augustine Evans Adotey who delivered the sucker punch and a technical knockout in the West African country.
