Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs have named former Cape Verde national team coach Ricardo Da Rocha as the new head coach of the club, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.

The former Brazilian international signed a year contract with the Cape Coast based side subject to renewal at the end of the season.

Da Rocha who played for Lazio and Cesena in the Italian Serie A was brought into the country by agent Leslie Kuuku Bartels after the club contacted him for assistance in getting a coach.

Da Rocha was the head coach of the national team of Cape Verde in 2007 and has also coached Hager Club of Saudi Arabia.

Dwarfs struggled with the technical direction in the just ended season which saw  the club sacking veteran coach J.E. Sarpong for Prosper Narteh who ended the season with the team.

Prosper refused to stay on with the club citing educational reasons as the purpose of his decision making it necessary for the club to appoint Da Rocha as his successor.
