Card-happy Taylor appointed to Liverpool v Everton derby clash

Published on: 28 March 2017

Anthony Taylor has been appointed as the man in charge for the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton on Saturday.

The Premier League will resume after the international break this weekend with an enticing clash between the Reds and Toffees at Anfield and the match is expected to be a fiercely contested battle.

Given the bad blood between the two sides, the referee will certainly need to perform well during the game and it can be revealed that the man in charge on the day will be card-happy Taylor, who has shown 132 yellow cards and 4 red cards in his 32 matches in 2016/17 so far.
