Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has named his powerful midfielder Michael Essien as 'The Wall' after the Ghanaian demonstrated his power on pre-season with the Blues.

The Portuguese manage is confident that Essien is ready to demonstrate his strength once more for Chelsea after returning on loan from Real Madrid.

Knee injuries on four occasions since joining the Blues from Lyon in August 2005, during Mourinho's first spell in charge, have threatened Essien's future.

But he was rejuvenated by a loan spell under the Portuguese at Real Madrid last season and now hopes to be part of a successful second spell at Stamford Bridge for the Special One.

At one point in Wednesday's defeat of the Singha All-Stars in Thailand, an opposing player appeared to bounce off Essien.

"He hit 'The Wall'," Mourinho said.

Essien is expected to play a key role of Chelsea this season as they start their fight for the Premier League title.

Guys this is what Jose Mourinho said about Essien loyalty and plans for upcoming seasons EPL. Michael Essien has been a loyal servant for Mourinho, who signed the Ghana midfielder on loan for Real Madrid last term. Mourinho believes Essien, who signed for Chelsea from Lyon during the Portuguese's first spell as boss and has now recovered from a series of knee injuries, has a key role to play in the forthcoming campaign. "He is a great man and he is a very good player and I see him with special motivation," Mourinho said. "He's a fantastic player and we need this kind of player in this profile of squad, a squad of many, many, many talented kids. "We need this type of player to give us that balance. "He knows exactly his task and exactly what he has to do and big, big, big experience so he will be useful for us." And I said Amen.

Once you take your mind out from pornographic materials, then you became very active in all front. Its makes you spiritual and physical weak and make you vulnerable to minor attack. Since there are many talented players in every team, there's high sense of competition that involves wishes and all kinds spiritual attack. Money to a church is not enough, to orphanage is not enough, and homeless is also not enough, but your relationship to God is all that you need to prosper. May you stay stronger, well fit, and focus.

That's the edge he has over Mikel Obi, and with the fact that he plays in several positions, he's a real wall, with his stamina, even Lampard will be benched!
