CHELSEA loanee Traore made his debut for AJAX

New Ajax siging Bertrand Traoré, who joined the Eredivisie giants from Chelsea on a long-season loan, made his debut at the Amsterdam ArenA in the clash against Roda JC this weekend.

The Burkina Faso international has confirmed his current manager Peter Bosz played a key role in his final decision to move back to Holland.

The 20-year-old forward, speaking after the game, told De Telegraaf: “The presence of Peter Bosz has influenced my arrival in Amsterdam, but that does not mean that if he had not been here, I would not have come”.

Traore played at Vitesse on loan scoring 17 times in 48 games under the current Ajax manager, who has reportedly made him a top target to revamp the attack in view of the Champions League playoff against Russian Premier League side Rostov.

Anyway, the Chelsea loanee could develop and gain more experience during his second Eredivisie spell with the same manager, who managed to nurture his talent when he was in charge at Vitesse.
