Chewia Ladies seeks corporate support after qualifications to the National Women League

Newly promoted National Women’s League side Chewia Upper Ladies is seeking for corporate support to help them compete in the women top flight division.

The Upper West-based NWL newbies sealed their place in the 2016 edition of the Women's League at the northern zone qualification in Tamale.

The infantile club has called on corporate Ghana to extend a helping hand if they are to sustain their status in the league.

Chewia Upper Ladies, set to play in the NWL as Real Upper Ladies in the league are pleading with the football fraternity to jump to their rescue in terms sponsoring them with football equipment as well as assisting them financially.

Technical Director of the Wa-based side , Tijani Umar-Farouk, called on corporate Ghana to partner them as they storm the NWL to demonstrate their gallery of talents to the world.

"We are simply calling on the watching world to come to our rescue with any kind of support that will help us play in the NWL.

All we need is just support and this could come in a number of ways including equipments, kits, transport and anything that will help us play in the league", Umar Farouk Tijani told Ghanasoccernet.com

Umar Farouk added that if anyone is willing to support, assistance can be channeled through the Upper West Regional football Association.

"Anybody who wants to support us can get to us though the Regional Football Association in the Upper West region.

We believe any assistance through that office will be transparent and used to help lessen our preparation,” the Physically dejected Farouk added.

He however concluded by opening their doors to any organization that wants to partner them in the running of the club or through branded sponsorship.

Chewia Upper Ladies currently have produced a number of players for the women’s national teams including Fuseina Mumuni, Issahaku Barikisu, Mohammed Wasila, Abubakar Afisatu and Larbi Gaise.
