Chicago Fire fans have named Ghana winger David Accam as one of their all-time best players after winning maximum votes.

The 26-year-old was named on the Chicago Fire commemorative player cards which was aimed at determining the Club’s greatest ever players in their 20 years of existence.

The Ghana forward was chasing for the award together with countryman and former player of the club Dominic Oduro, Logan Pause, Frank Klopas, Romania legend Hristo Stoichkov, former USA skipper Carlos Bocanegra, William Conde and Jon Busch.

Accam pulled 28% of the votes to among the club’s most influential players.

He will be honoured during the celebration of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club's 20th Season later in the year.

The Black Stars player will ultimately become a club legend after earning a place on the commemorative playing card deck.

The forward has been able to score 20 goals in two seasons for the Club making him the all-time top scorer for Fire.

He joined the Major League Soccer side from Swedish Club Helsingborg in 2015.
