Crock Kompany to miss Man City Champions League clash

Published on: 21 February 2017

Vincent Kompany is out of Manchester City's Champions League last-16 clash with Monaco on Tuesday.

The Belgium centre-back missed the FA Cup fifth-round goalless draw with Huddersfield at the weekend after picking up a leg problem in training.

"Vincent is not ready for tomorrow. I think it won't be longer. Hopefully, for the Huddersfield game he will be ready," boss Pep Guardiola said.

"More or less the rest are okay. We will see after the session tomorrow. Gael had a problem in his back. He is much, much better. Maybe he will be back tomorrow. Tomorrow we will also decide which goalkeeper will play."
