Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley says sacking Alan Pardew was the right decision.
The Palace midfielder has said that the Eagles were right to make a managerial change, after Pardew was sacked and replaced by Sam Allardyce just before Christmas.
Speaking to talkSPORT's Ian Abrahams, he said: "We weren't doing well in 2016. It was probably the worst year ever in football and we needed a change.
"There have not been drastic changes, but changes which needed to be done. Sam has come in and hopefully with his routine and the way he wants us to play, hopefully we can get results.
"It is about results more than performances now."
